“Necessity is the mother of invention” they say, and that is certainly true in the case of PiNK. Good friends, Katie Crook and Nancy Montone, were tired of having to go out of town to find interesting pieces. They didn’t want their homes furnished in “Harden” and decorated by “Pottery Barn” like everybody else in the neighborhood, yet they found very few interesting alternatives.  

They dreamed of a retail store where you could find “way-different” stuff and be inspired by the experience. They wanted to find interesting, high quality, one-of-a-kind pieces at affordable prices. Well, that sums up PiNK - ”cool stuff…great prices”.

PiNK opened in 2003, but due to popular demand, expanded (and nearly tripled its size!) in 2006. Today the 8000 square foot retail facility is located in East Aurora, NY. It is a two-level warehouse type edifice which boasts an expansive inventory, easy parking and a fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Katie and Nancy travel the world to bring you cool stuff. The imported inventory is very different and always changing. The woods, the fabrics, the iron are all of the highest quality and everything is handmade. It is truly an experience to spend time in PiNK and the girls promise that you will find things that you have never seen anywhere else.
